  • Some of what we do

We are a family business offering a complete service in the building industry.

Living and working in many regions of France and England for the last 20 years we've gained a great deal of experience and all our work conforms to current regulation. We are skilled in all aspects of the building trade and obtain the necessary certification required by law.

We have an empathy with older buildings and traditional working practices, but

we are equally at home with modern designs and technologies.

Whilst we specialise in taking your projects from foundation to chimney, we will happily quote for the replacement of a single window or door or anything in between. We do not use sub contractors or project managers. We are proud of

the work we do and value your patronage.

In the following pages you will find some examples of our work and we offer a photographic work history and work in progress for your peace of mind

A Derelict Pigeon House

The Pigeon  House

, shown above was in a sorry state  with the roof caving in

and the facade crumbling but as an architectural icon typical of the region its well worth saving. After reinforcement the roof is removed and the timber structure beneath is inspected those members past saving are replaced and the rest treated with a preservative insecticide the small flat tiles are refitted and in just 6 months it has blended back in with its surroundings

ready to face the next 50 years. Although now structurally sound with the moss and lichen once again taking hold it seems untouched. charming.

Mr Golby completely renovated the Electrical and plumbing system in my house. His workmanship was of the highest quality and his capacity for problem solving in an old house was a grate asset, and accompanied by a cheerful and resourceful

reaction to each new difficulty. Each task was completed on time and within budget and represented excellent value for money. Upon completion the work under went an inspection and I was issued with a certificate from the Consuel du Electricity.

I employed Mr golby to do some remodeling of my house in England. The work was difficult and involved the rerouting of the central heating system, additions to the electrical system and general building work including brick work rendering and plastering. The standard of the work was superior to the original and following his advise I Know saved me money. I have no hesitation in recomending

his company
